A Ghost Story, Baby Driver, and David Lowery's Daily Routine

Saw Baby Driver, directed by Edgar Wright, last week. Love it so much I downloaded the soundtrack to Spotify and listened to it every time I'm in the car. Last night, I saw A Ghost Story directed by David Lowery. To say it haunts me may be an understatement. I woke up still thinking about it. They can't be more different ... these 2 films. But both are so good, fantastically creative and unique. I'm going to try my best to keep a list of all the movies I watch this year to share with you by year-end. Guess I better start keeping track of them now even though it's already July.

Obsessed by A Ghost Story, I started stalking David Lowery online. Reading all the articles and interviews I could possibly find on him, I stumbled upon this Vimeo short film he made called "My Daily Routine." What a treasured peek. Don't feel so odd now that I too stay up "working on that thing or this thing until 2 or 3 in the morning."

Two kick-ass movies in two weeks with an atmospheric one in between (The Beguiled by Sofia Coppola), is not too shabby. Hope your summer is just as productive!
